Tamil Nadu Elections 2021 Live News: Polling has been completed for 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu and 30 assembly seats in Puducherry. The counting of votes will take place on May 2. Tamil Nadu is witnessing a fierce battle between arch rivals All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). The MK Stalin-led DMK, which has been out of power in the state since 2011, has a face-to-face battle with the ruling AIADMK in around 130 constituencies. Out of the 30 assembly seats, in Puducherry, five are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates.
