The iPhone 13 series may eventually become a notch-less. A leaked iPhone 13 prototype was being tested without a trace. The iPhone 13 series launch will happen later this year, and we already have a plethora of leaks available. Apart from the iPhone 13, less than a notch, the top-end Pro variants have been said to come with 1TB of storage. Apple is said to be already testing the notch-less iPhone 13. The next generation iPhone can come with equally thin bezels all around. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will likely feature high-end 1TB storage models.
Apple is also said to consider the under-display fingerprint sensor. Some time ago the popular tipster John Prosser stated that future iPhone 13 models could pack up to 1TB of storage. The subject has been discussed again in a new report by ITHome and stated that the iPhone 13 Pro could come with storage up to 1TB. Currently, the maximum available storage on an iPhone is 512GB.
Digitimes previously reported that all iPhone 13 series phones will come with the ToF LiDAR sensor. The iPhone 13 series is said to support direct time-of-flight (D-ToF) technology. LiDAR sensors will be sourced from a US-based company called II-VI, which will be an important Apple vendor for its supply chain next year.
iPhone 13 No Notch
The next generation iPhone model will include the VCSEL chip used in the TOF LiDAR sensor.
The same report also claimed that the iPhone 13’s rear-camera setup has a large number of holes. Therefore the lens may not increase, but the number of sensors can be seen to bounce. The iPhone 13 series may have a better 3D sensing module.
Barclays analysts Blaine Curtis, Tim Long and Thomas O’Malley reported that the iPhone 13 series will come with Wi-Fi 6E. The next generation of technology will provide Wi-Fi 6 functionality, extending to the 6GHz frequency band. The iPhone 13 series will provide higher bandwidth with less interference for Wi-Fi 6 E-enabled devices.
In addition, the iPhone 13 retail box may miss another in-box product. After the charger and earphones, Apple is asked to remove the USB cable from the iPhone 13 retail box. The Cupertino-based tech giant is once again conducting a survey for an opinion through a new survey. According to reports, this time the iPhone 13 retail box will not come with USB cable.
As Apple is trying to cut the carbon footprint, they are abandoning in-box products one by one. At the iPhone 12 launch, Apple announced that they would be removing the charging adapter and EarPods from all iPhone retail boxes in the future. The Cupertino-based tech giant recently surveyed some users about whether they use a charging adapter inside the box.
