Huawei Mate X2 foldable smartphone: Huawei has launched its Mate X2 foldable device, which is the second foldable Chinese manufacturer after Mate X two years ago. Huawei also states that the resolution of the internal screen is 2480 x 2200 pixels and has a pixel density of 413 ppi, while the external screen is 2700 x 1160 and has a pixel density of 456 ppi. According to the company, the device will come with a 4500 mAh battery and 55W charging speed with Huawei Supercharge support. It will weigh around 295 grams and supports 5G network on primary SIM and 4G network on secondary SIM.
The company offers 50 MP ultra vision camera with wide angle support, 16 MP cine camera with ultra support, 12 MP telephoto. Camera with 3x optical zoom, and 8 MP superzoom camera with 10x optical zoom, and support for phase autofocus. Huawei says that the device will support up to 8192 x 6144 pixel images, while 4K video or 1080p video will support 960 frames per second. On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter with wide angle support, and FHD video recording.
The Mate X2 will be powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 9000 chipset which was found in last year’s Mate 40 Pro. An octa-core processor, a Cortex A77 core with 3.13 Ghz, three Cortex A77 cores at 2.54 GHz and four Cortex A55 efficiency cores at 2.05 GHz. On the graphics front, the device will sport a 24-core Mali G78 GPU. The device will be powered by 8GB RAM and will come in 256 / 512GB storage variants.
