However, if you have downloaded the game before, you have a chance to reinstall its Chapter 2 – Season 3 (v13.40). For that, you have to open your App Store and click on your account icon on the top right corner. Now you will be shown there to open the list of your previously downloaded apps and click on ‘Purchase’ option. The fortnite game will appear in the list, so from there, download Fortnite.
Now, you’ll have to reinstall the 10GB collection of app files as Fortnite exists on mobile, which is a kind of shell for the huge amount of game files that need to be retrieved from Epic Games’ servers. This process will bring the game back to your home screen and you can play it for now, at least.
