Battlegrounds Mobile India fans are thoroughly enjoying the beta version of the game that was released on Thursday, June 17. Though the game has not been officially launched but fans of PUBG Mobile India are already downloading the apk for Android devices using OBB link.
However, even amidst the huge popularity and acceptance of the Indian audience, many controversies still swirl around the game. Crafton is not ready to release Battlegrounds Mobile India for a few more days especially as many groups of people in India have demanded a ban on it.
Notably, PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and now the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has written a letter to Union IT and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Battleground Mobile India. demanded a ban. Because it is “not only a threat to the national sovereignty and security of India but also harmful to the younger generations.”
CAIT also asked Google not to allow Battlegrounds Mobile India developers to use Google Play store as their platform. “We have been informed that despite being marketed as an Indian game intended for Indian users only, the data will be transferred to Singapore and other territories and the governing law for non-Indian users will apply Many features from the restricted version in the app,” CAIT said in its letter.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Latest Statement
Responding to this statement, Battlegrounds Mobile India said on its official website on June 22, 2021, “Crafton, Inc., the creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India and owner of the blockbuster IP-PlayerRuncoins Battlegrounds, is fully compliant with the Indian We are working towards the official launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India as laws and regulations are in place.”
In its statement to clarify, Crafton has also stated that like other mobile games and apps, Battlegrounds Mobile India also uses third party solutions to provide unique game features.
