Notably, PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act and now the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has written a letter to Union IT and Communications Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Battleground Mobile India. demanded a ban. CAIT also asked Google not to allow Battlegrounds Mobile India developers to use Google Play store as their platform. “We have been informed that despite being marketed as an Indian game intended for Indian users only, the data will be transferred to Singapore and other territories and the governing law for non-Indian users will apply Many features from the restricted version in the app,” CAIT said in its letter.
