Sony Bravia X80J TV series: Sony is expanding this year’s TV lineup in India by launching the Bravia X80J Google TV series. The lineup includes five screen sizes – 189 cm (75), 165 cm (65), 140 cm (55), 126 cm (50) and 108 cm (43) for the X80J series. However, for now only the price of the 65-inch model has been revealed. The 65-inch KD-65X80J costs 1.3Lacs and is available from Sony Center, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals. Prices for other screen models will be announced later.
The highlight here is the inclusion of Sony’s X1 4K HDR picture processor. The technology features an object-based HDR remaster, enhancing the colors of individual objects with improved depth, texture, and contrast adjusted to deliver more realistic images. The series also comes with the TRILUMINOS Pro display algorithm to handle color saturation, hue, and brightness. Also, if you have 2K or FHD resolution content, the Bravia X80J’s 4K X-Reality PRO technology can upgrade it to 4K for better clarity and sharpness.
Sony’s new TV lineup is not only offering visual enhancements, but the firm claims its TV model to focus on audio as well. The series supports Dolby Atmos with X-balanced speakers.
Apart from these, the TV series integrates Google TV and the TV remote has built-in microphones so you can activate Google Assistant anytime. Also supported are the Apple Home Kit and AirPlay so that you can connect Apple devices such as iPads and iPhones to stream content.
Finally, you get X-Protection Pro technology that protects household appliances from dust and moisture.
