Sony has just launched its Alpha 1 or A1 flagship full-frame mirrorless camera in India. It is Sony’s most expensive and most advanced consumer-level camera ever and it brings together the best features of the Sony A7S III and A7R IV.

The Alpha 1 is also the first Sony camera in the Alpha series that can shoot 8K video, with an i AF for birds, and also the S-Syntone color profile for video we’ve seen on the Sony FX line of cinema cameras.

The Sony Alpha 1 is priced at 5,59,990 just for the body and will be available from March 12 on all major online ecommerce platforms and retail stores. This camera comes with an e-mount system, similar to other Sony’s full-frame mirrorless cameras, so you can use the pre-existing lens.
The camera is intended for professional photographers and videographers who require high-resolution sensors, fast burst shooting, and next-gen resolution for filming. The Sony Alpha 1 is accompanied by some new 50.1-megapixel stacked sensors powered by an advanced BoNz XR image processor.
