Hyderabad: A day later Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) canceled the Class 10 exams and postponed the Class 12 exams, a similar decision has been taken by the Telangana government as it canceled the SSC exams and postponed the intermediate exams.

Every year, more than 5 lakh students appear for SSC exams and around 9.5 lakh students appear for intermediate first and second year exams. The Inter Board had already postponed the practical examinations, which were scheduled to be held from 7th April. It was decided to conduct these examinations from 29 May 2021 to 7 June 2021 after the theory test. Instead of conducting a physical examination, it had also asked students to submit two question papers – Ethics and Human Values and Environmental Education, from assignment to home in PDF format as assignments.
