Punjab Police Recruitment Sub inspector 2021 Apply Online:Recruitment has been taken for more than 500 posts of Sub Inspector in Punjab Police. Applications on these posts will start from 5 July 2021. The examination for recruitment will be held from August 17 to 31.
Punjab Police has invited applications for the post of Sub Inspector. State Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has given this information by tweeting recently. He told that recruitment has been taken on 560 posts of Sub Inspector. Application for Punjab Police Sub Inspector posts will start from July 5. Let us tell you that this recruitment is going to be done for four cadres (Armed, District, Intelligence and Investigation Cadre). Let us tell you that the examination will be conducted in the month of August. In August, 2 MCQ based CB papers will be conducted.

Candidates will be selected for these posts on the basis of written test, physical test and merit list. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for these posts through the official website from July 5.
Punjab Police SI Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification:
Sub Inspector (District Police Cadre)- Candidate should be Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University
Sub Inspector (Armed Police Cadre) – Candidate should be Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized University
Sub Inspector (Investigation Cadre) – Candidate should be Graduate from a recognized University or its equivalent
Intelligence Officer (in the rank of Sub Inspector, Intelligence Cadre) – Candidate should be: Graduate from a recognized University or Institute, as the case may be, provided such candidate also possesses ‘0’ level certificate of Information Technology. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) (formerly called DOEACC); OR Graduate with Computer Science, OR Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute:
OR Information Technology as one of the elective subjects during the entire period of graduation; or B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E in Information Technology, or Computer Science; or Computer Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering; or information systems; or computer networking; or data science; or software engineering; or BCA; OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute, as the case may be.
