The ICC has fixed a total prize money of 6.9 million US dollars (about Rs 60 crore) for the Champions Trophy 2025. The winning team of the tournament will get around Rs 19.50 crore, while the runner-up team will be given a prize money of about Rs 10 crore.
Prize money for semi-finals and group stage
The teams losing in the semi-finals will get around Rs 5 crore each. At the same time, the team will get a prize money of about Rs 30 lakh for winning every match in the group stage.
Other teams will also get rewards
The teams ranked 5th and 6th will get around Rs 3 crore, while the teams ranked 7th and 8th will get an amount of around Rs 1.21 crore. In this way, all the teams will definitely get at least Rs 1 crore.
A total of 8 teams will participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be divided into two groups of 4 each. All teams will get a chance to play at least three matches. There is tremendous enthusiasm among cricket lovers about this tournament.
